The 2024 Taiwan Culture Festival brings a vibrant showcase of Taiwanese arts, heritage, and traditions to Queensland. Organised by World Arts & Multi-Culture Inc., the festival features a dynamic array of cultural activities and celebrations throughout February.
Kicking off at Sunnybank Plaza, the Lunar New Year Workshop and Taiwan Culture displays run from 7 February to 11 February, inviting visitors to explore Taiwanese customs and creative arts at the Multicultural Gallery. The Taiwan Imagery Exhibition opens on 17 February at Sunny Park Shopping Centre, offering a unique visual journey through contemporary and traditional Taiwanese art.
On the same weekend, the Moreton Bay Lunar New Year Festival lights up Caboolture Town Square with festivities from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, highlighting multicultural performances and community spirit. The festival concludes with the Lanterns Painting Competition Award ceremony on 24 February at Sunnybank Plaza, celebrating artistic talent and cultural expression.
