WAMCI Mobile Gallery Series
The WAMCI Mobile Gallery Series, launched in 2025, is an innovative exhibition initiative designed to bring Taiwan’s rich culture, natural heritage, and stories to diverse communities through accessible and flexible displays. Since its introduction, the series has presented exhibitions featuring Taiwan Indigenous Peoples’ Culture, Taiwan Tea Culture, Taiwan’s Native Butterflies, and the Beauty of Taiwan’s Geology. Designed to travel across different venues and community settings, the Mobile Gallery makes cultural learning more accessible beyond traditional gallery spaces. With more themes under development, the series continues to open new windows onto Taiwan and foster cross-cultural understanding through art, culture, and education.
Empowering Migrants Expo 2024

On 4 August 2024, World Arts & Multi-Culture Inc. participated in the Empowering Migrants Expo at Brisbane City Hall, joining more than 20 countries and 10 government agencies in celebrating multicultural diversity through cultural exhibitions, performances, and community engagement.
The organisation proudly presented Taiwan’s tea culture and the Formosa Culture Exhibition, introducing visitors to Taiwan’s Indigenous heritage through traditional costumes, cultural displays, and interactive presentations by students from Hungkuang University. The exhibition provided visitors with a meaningful opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of Taiwanese culture.
The event also celebrated outstanding community leadership. Susan Yang, President of World Arts & Multi-Culture Inc., received the Community Leadership Award (Finalist), while Edward Lin, CEO of the Australia–Taiwan Culture Foundation, was honoured with the Harmony Ambassador Award for their contributions to multicultural exchange and Australia–Taiwan cultural collaboration.
Empowering Migrants Expo 2025

On 3 August 2025, World Arts & Multi-Culture Inc. (WAMCI) participated in the Empowering Migrants Expo at Brisbane City Hall, celebrating multicultural diversity through art, culture, and community engagement.
This year’s Taiwan exhibition featured the Taiwan Butterfly Exhibition, curated by Susan Yang and showcasing artworks by Taiwanese artist Wesley Lin. Using butterflies as a symbol of transformation, heritage, and cross-cultural connection, the exhibition offered visitors a meaningful experience of Taiwan’s artistic and cultural identity.
The Expo also marked the first participation of FASCA Brisbane (Formosa Association of Student Cultural Ambassadors), whose members introduced Taiwanese culture through guided tours and cultural storytelling. In recognition of his ongoing contribution to Australia–Taiwan cultural exchange, Edward Lin, CEO of the Australia Taiwan Culture Foundation, was honoured on stage as a member of the Expo organising committee.

The 2026 Taiwan Exhibition celebrated the extraordinary beauty of Taiwan’s natural landscapes, inviting visitors to discover the island beyond its famous landmarks. From the towering peaks of Yushan to the marble cliffs of Taroko Gorge, the exhibition highlighted Taiwan’s rich biodiversity and breathtaking scenery.
Through a collection of landscape artworks, the exhibition showcased the unique environments that make Taiwan one of Asia’s most ecologically diverse islands. Visitors were encouraged to appreciate the harmony between nature and culture while experiencing the beauty of Taiwan from a new perspective.
The exhibition aimed to inspire curiosity, deepen understanding of Taiwan’s natural heritage, and encourage audiences to create their own unforgettable memories of Formosa.
